Justification Part 2

Romans 3:19-4:12

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”

D. You have been reconciled to right relationship with God! Romans 5:6-11

We are not sinners who are saved, we are saints who sin!!! This is our identity in Christ, we are justified, declared righteous before a Holy and Just God.

Talk it out, Walk it out!

1. How might understanding that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places change the way we face daily struggles or spiritual battles?

2. Paul emphasizes God’s “rich mercy,” “great love,” and “immeasurable grace.” Which of these aspects of God’s character do you feel you most need to understand more deeply right now, and why?

3. How would your daily mindset change if you truly believed you owe nothing because Christ paid everything?

4. In what areas of your life do you see the Holy Spirit bringing freedom right now? And what does it look like practically to walk in the Spirit day by day?

5. What victories, big or small, have you experienced since becoming a new creation in Christ?

6. How does the promise of reigning with Christ impact the way you approach suffering, injustice, or challenges now?
